The purpose-built, state-of-the-art All-on-4® Super Clinic in Melbourne features an in-house dental laboratory, so your entire procedure takes place under one roof.

Unlike traditional dental implants, which replace each individual tooth, All-on-4® only uses four implants to support an entire bridge of prosthetic teeth. Our clinical staff and support team are experienced providers of the clinically proven Malo Protocol.

The All-on-4® treatment concept takes place over two stages. The first stage involves surgery, where your implants are surgically placed, and you receive your provisional bridge of teeth. You will wear this provisional bridge for three to six months while your bone fuses to the implant. Next Smile Australia Melbourne’s in-house dental laboratory is creating your final set of teeth using genuine Nobel Biocare components during that time. Stage two involves receiving your final set of long-lasting teeth.

Introducing Dr Larry Benge

Forever passionate about the art and business of dentistry, Dr Larry Benge has become one of the nation’s most respected dental surgeons in the proven Gold Standard All–on–4® treatment concept. Dr Larry Benge has over 40 years of experience in dentistry, and his practice has an emphasis on reconstructive, aesthetic and implant dentistry, specifically the All-on-4® treatment concept of full-arch restoration.

He graduated from The University of Melbourne in 1980 with first-class honours in Dental Science, having first completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours at Monash University.

Before partnering with Dr Paulo Malo in bringing the All-on-4® treatment philosophy to Australia and founding Next Smile Sydney, Dr Larry Benge was the Principal at Bond Street Dental in Melbourne.

With over 40 years in dentistry, Dr Larry Benge has lectured, published and studied locally and internationally and is well-regarded and respected by his peers. Dr Larry Benge is based in Melbourne and is also the lead surgeon for Next Smile Sydney performing surgeries that may transform patients’ lives.

Dr Lauren Fowler

Introducing Dr Lauren Fowler

Dr Lauren Fowler has worked alongside Dr Larry Benge since 2016, with a focus on All-on-4® treatment and prosthodontic rehabilitation. Dr Fowler graduated from Adelaide University in 2013 and brings her skill and passion for dentistry into every aspect of her work.

She has trained extensively both domestically and internationally in prosthodontics and the All-on-4® procedure, including with Professor Paulo Malo, the inventor of All-on-4®, and at the University of California, Los Angeles. She has restored hundreds of All-on-4® full mouth rehabilitations at Next Smile Melbourne and now leads the Melbourne team alongside Dr Benge. In 2018 she was awarded the youngest Digital Smile Design Master worldwide at New York University and in 2019, Lauren was accepted into the University of Melbourne Surgical Implant Dentistry Master Class program.

She is a Key Opinion Leader and speaker for Nobel Biocare and Philips Sonicare and lectures regularly around Australia.

Outside dentistry, Lauren's main passion is travelling to new destinations and trying the local cuisine.

The All-on-4® two-stage protocol developed by Dr Malo, allows the placement of four dental implants to support a fixed bridge during one appointment. This greatly reduces the time patients spend without teeth: You will receive a non-removable set of new teeth in as little as one day.

Am I a good candidate for All-on-4® dental implants?

Will All-on-4® dental implants prevent bone loss?

When you lose one or more teeth, the underlying bone has no function and, consequently, is reabsorbed by the body. Dental implants, however, can provide enough stimulation to the jawbone to prevent the bone from further deterioration. All-on-4®, as such, also prevents further bone loss.

Patients who’ve been advised that traditional solutions to missing teeth won’t work for them due to significant bone loss are often suitable candidates for the All-on-4® treatment.
