Dr Nicholas Wood is renowned as one of Adelaide’s youngest and most successful practice owners, being a key stakeholder in six clinics across South Australia. This unique position has allowed Dr Nicholas Wood to engage with a broad range of patients and develop a wealth of experience over the last decade.
Dr Nicholas Wood holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Adelaide, with his dedication to excellence leading him to pursue a Masters of Clinical Dentistry in fixed and removable prosthodontics at the prestigious King's College London. His research focuses on All-on-4® implant rehabilitation, meaning Dr Nicholas Wood is able to apply a gold standard of knowledge to his approach as one of Adelaide’s leading All-on-4® surgeons.
Throughout his career, Dr Nicholas Wood has undertaken additional training both in Australia and overseas, including mentorship in the Malo approach by Dr Larry Benge, Dr Tony Rotondo and Dr Paulo Malo. Having placed hundreds of implants and witnessed the smile changes for his patients, Dr Nicholas Woods’ primary focus lies in implant dentistry and cosmetic dentistry.
In his free time, Dr Nicholas Wood enjoys cycling, skiing, playing guitar, and horse riding with his partner Prue and daughter Phoebe.
Dr Evan Jones

Dr Evan Jones' passion for helping rebuild his patient's smiles with dental implants fuelled his excitement for utilising the revolutionary All-on-4® procedure.
Following graduation with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide, he began a career in both metropolitan and rural clinics - quickly developing his oral surgery skills. Dr Evan Jones routinely undertakes implant placement, wisdom tooth removal and difficult dental extractions.
Having then received training and mentoring from Next Smile Australia partners Drs Larry Benge and Tony Rotondo as well as Dr Paulo Malo, Dr Evan Jones has fast become one of Adelaide's leading All-on-4® surgeons and he loves how he has been able to help so many patients through their All-on-4® treatment journey.
He is a member and South Australian president of the Australia Endodontic Society, a member of the ADA as well as the Australian Osseointegration Society.
Dr Ian Bills

Dr Ian Bills graduated from the University of Adelaide with a BDS and began practising general dentistry in 1977. He was motivated to seek more knowledge and was awarded Fellowship to the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 1980.
Dr Ian Bills became interested in dental implants after attending a lecture by Dr Patrick Henry in 1985 and underwent training in the prosthetic and surgical aspects of the Branemark system, Professor Branemark being the inventor of traditional dental implants. Dr Ian Bills was involved in research and education as a Visiting Staff Member at the Branemark Centre in Perth until Dr Henry's retirement.
Dr Ian Bills has lectured and presented live dental implant procedures at Nobel Biocare events globally and here at home.
2003 saw several milestones as Ian became involved in the introduction of Guided Surgery to Australia, the same year he performed his first All-on-4® procedure. He underwent further training in the All-on-4® technique at the Malo Clinic in Portugal and continues to work on the technique to achieve exceptional success rates.

Dr Edward Pitts

Coming from a family of successful and highly regarded dentists, Dr Edward Pitts had been warmly encouraged to pave a passionate and academic future of his own in the dental industry from a young age. After graduating from the University of Adelaide in 2012, Dr Edward Pitts spent 10 years at a Hyde Park clinic, where he developed further interest in implant dentistry.
He has attended implant courses both internationally and here in Australia and has been trained in the Malo protocol by Next Smile partners Dr Larry Benge, Dr Tony Rotondo and Dr Paulo Malo himself. Dr Edward Pitts has placed over 400 implants to date.

Dr Tony Rotondo

Dr Tony Rotondo, Prosthodontist, is the first dental surgeon to bring the All-on-4® treatment to Queensland and has been placing implants since the early 2000s. He has completed more than 800 All-on-4® cases since becoming a certified All-on-4® dental implant surgeon in Brisbane.
Dr Tony Rotondo is a registered specialist in Prosthodontics with over 30 years of expertise. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Queensland in 1984 and a postgraduate residency in Prosthodontics in 1996 at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He currently practices in Brisbane.
Dr Tony Rotondo has specific interests in dental aesthetics, dental implants, ceramic materials and interdisciplinary dentistry. He has taught undergraduates and postgraduates at the University of Queensland. He has been a visiting lecturer to the postgraduate program in prosthodontics at the University of Sydney and a visiting lecturer to Griffith University, School of Dentistry in Southport. Dr Tony Rotondo is a fellow of the International College of Dentists and the Australasian Osseointegration Society's founding member and chairman.
In the past, Dr Tony Rotondo has been the president of the Australian Society of Aesthetic Dentistry (QLD Branch), secretary of ANZAP (Australian Academy of Prosthodontists), treasurer and founding member of AOS (Australasian Osseointegration Society, QLD branch), is part of the DSD scientific board, scientific chairman of the AOS(Australian Osseointegration Society), silver member within the Style Italiano group and a member of many other professional associations. Dr Tony Rotondo is a product evaluator for dental companies and presents numerous continuing education programs nationally and internationally.

Forever passionate about the art and business of dentistry, Dr Larry Benge has become one of the nation’s most respected dental surgeons in the proven Gold Standard All–on–4® treatment concept. Dr Larry Benge has over 40 years of experience in dentistry, and his practice has an emphasis on reconstructive, aesthetic and implant dentistry, specifically the All-on-4® treatment concept of full-arch restoration.
He graduated from The University of Melbourne in 1980 with first-class honours in Dental Science, having first completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours at Monash University.

Dr Lauren Fowler

Dr Lauren Fowler has worked alongside Dr Larry Benge since 2016, with a focus on All-on-4® treatment and prosthodontic rehabilitation. Dr Fowler graduated from Adelaide University in 2013 and brings her skill and passion for dentistry into every aspect of her work.
She has trained extensively both domestically and internationally in prosthodontics and the All-on-4® procedure, including with Professor Paulo Malo, the inventor of All-on-4®, and at the University of California, Los Angeles. She has restored hundreds of All-on-4® full mouth rehabilitations at Next Smile Melbourne and now leads the Melbourne team alongside Dr Benge. In 2018 she was awarded the youngest Digital Smile Design Master worldwide at New York University and in 2019, Lauren was accepted into the University of Melbourne Surgical Implant Dentistry Master Class program.
She is a Key Opinion Leader and speaker for Nobel Biocare and Philips Sonicare and lectures regularly around Australia.

Dr Daniel Abbondanza

Dr Daniel Abbondanza graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Western Australia. Since then, he has continued his education by completing the primary examinations for the fellow of the Royal Academy of Australian Dental Surgeons.
He maintains an active interest in the dental society being a Federal committee member representing Western Australia for the Australian Prosthodontic Society 2009-2014.
Dr Daniel Abbondanza has been utilising advanced surgical techniques, including the All-on-4® technique, since 2007.
In 2009 he completed a master's program through UCLA in implant dentistry, finishing top of the class.
In addition to leading mentor programs for Nobel Biocare on the advanced use of computer-guided surgery, Dr Daniel Abbondanza has lectured internationally in Europe and Asia on topics related to cosmetic and implant dentistry.

Dr Caroline Kowalski is known for treating her patients with gentleness and genuine care for their well-being, ensuring that they understand what their options are and how she will achieve their desired outcomes.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Dentistry with Honours in 2011 from King’s College University in London, after completing a Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery in 2003 from The University of Birmingham.
She has worked in hospitals throughout the UK, having spent six years in head and neck, ENT, plastic and maxillofacial surgery, before going into private dental practice. She is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and a Member of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland.
Dr Caroline Kowalski moved to Australia in 2015 with her young family, and since then, she has worked in private general practice, where she gets to use her broad experience and skills to provide diagnostics and treatment help to her patients. Her special interests include full mouth rehabilitations using the latest technologies in planning and combining orthodontics (particularly Invisalign®), prosthodontics and implant therapy to produce ideal outcomes.

Dr Melissa Anderson graduated from Griffith University (QLD) in 2012. During her time at Griffith, she received the award for Academic Excellence 3 years running, in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
Mel remains up-to-date with the ever-changing technology of dentistry by furthering her postgraduate training in advanced surgical and non-surgical cosmetic and aesthetic treatments.
She developed her surgical skills under the guidance and training of Dr Larry Benge – senior clinical board member and active surgeon across Next Smile Australia All-on-4® Centres.

Dr Barry Phelan

Dr Barry Phelan has a keen interest in Implant Dentistry and has a passion for keeping up to date with the latest techniques in implantology. He has travelled worldwide to complete extensive studies with the opinion leaders in the field. Dr Barry Phelan graduated with honours from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, in 2004 and worked in a private dental practice in London for a couple of years before seeking sunnier shores in Australia in 2006. He has a strong interest in restorative and implant dentistry and has pursued extensive further education and knowledge in these fields.
He is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, the largest worldwide Implantology organisation, and the Misch International Implant Institute. Dr Barry Phelan is also a member of the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry.
