We are proud to have hosted a successful lecture on the 29th of August, 2024, featuring Next Smile Brisbane’s lead dental surgeon and owner, Dr Tony Rotondo, where sixty other industry professionals gathered to gain insight into dental innovations and further their knowledge. Dr Tony Rotondo presents numerous continuing education programs and shares his knowledge both nationally and internationally. He has in-depth knowledge of dental aesthetics, dental implants, ceramic materials and interdisciplinary dentistry.
The night featured others from the Next Smile Australia Brisbane team. The dental professionals who also shared their knowledge included Dr Po Lu, Dr Sahil Soni and Dr David Sandelli.
The lecture commenced with Dr Po Lu, Next Smile Australia Brisbane’s Prosthodontist, engaging the sixty other dental professionals with his in-depth knowledge of restorative dentistry. He focused on adhesion, cementation, and polishing techniques. Setting the tone for a deep dive into the practical aspects of dental restoration, he highlighted innovative approaches and techniques that are essential for modern dental practice.
Following Dr Po Lu, Next Smile Brisbane’s dentist, Dr Sahil Soni, continued the discussion on restorative dentistry, expanding further on adhesion, cementation, and polishing. His insights provided valuable perspectives that complemented Dr. Lu’s points, giving the attendees a well-rounded understanding of these critical processes in restorative dentistry. The presentations by Dr. Lu and Dr. Soni created a comprehensive learning experience, offering tips and strategies that the audience could take back to their practices.
Dr David Sandelli, a Next Smile Brisbane dentist, shifted the focus to the All-on-4® treatment concept. His presentation was centred around All-on-4® case selection, an important element when determining the suitability of patients for this transformative dental treatment. Dr Sandelli shared a series of real-life examples, showcasing the before and after snapshots of the procedure to demonstrate the life-changing impact the All-on-4® procedure can have on patients.
Dr Tony Rotondo wrapped up the evening’s presentation with a general overview of the All-on-4® treatment concept. Sharing the knowledge gained in his years of experience with All-on-4®, his talk helped to consolidate the examples presented by Dr Sandelli while offering a broader understanding of the procedure.
This event was an excellent opportunity for dental professionals to further their knowledge of restorative dentistry and the All-on-4® treatment concept. The lectures presented by Dr Lu, Dr Soni, Dr Sandelli and Dr Rotondo provided valuable insight into innovative dental treatments. Not only did the sixty attendees further their knowledge to enhance their own clinic, but they also received a certificate for 1.5 CPD hours and a referral pad for the All-on-4® treatment concept.
